Recent rumours are suggesting the up-and-coming Apple iPad 2 will have a much higher resolution than its predecessor. While still short of the ppi density of the iPhone, an iBooks app is suggesting 4x the pixels at 2048 x 1536 resolution. If these rumours are correct, then the iPad 2 would definitely be one way to silence the creeping Android competition.
